Excuse my ignorance, but what is meant by 'double nut'? I have head studs too and am just curious, it would be nice to be able to do HG while motor was still in the car.

You mentioned a filter is missing. Is this readily available? I have never actually seen one before. What kind of filter does it use?

Mine had a bad miss at part throttle. I found 1 rocker on the affected cyclinder not moving at all. I don't know how I wiped the cam so badly. I had probably 30k miles on a flat tappet Comp Cam 206/206.

Do you have an aftermarket cam or the stocker? I just ask cause I had similar problem and i was praying it was a coil pack or MAF but found out it was a flat cam lobe:(

He ain't joking. When I bought my car it had a TE62 and 36lb injectors :confused:. I promply blew the heck out of the head gaskets, and nowhere near 29 lbs of boost, maybe 20.

Anyone?? Rocker arm on cyl #2 closest to turbo is not moving. Is this intake or exhaust? How screwed am I?

OK, I pulled the valve cover on the passenger side and one of the rockers on cylinder #2 is not moving at all. So, what is my next step here? Do I pull the intake, what should I expect to find?

Help me troubleshoot guys! Car is missing and running like crap. I have replaced the crank sensor, plugs, plug wires, coil pack, ignition module and ecm. I have also tested each injector connector with a noid light, everything checks out good. Now when I pull the plug wire from cyclinder...

I use the 255 50 16's on GNX style wheels. The best street tire I found was from Pep Boys. The Futura radials are cheap and I pulled a 1.84 60' with them! The BFG's suck, I couldn't get below a 2.1 60' with lots of practice, that is why I was amazed with the Futura's.

Ahhh yes, my friend, the old crank sensor. I just discovered that was my problem. Car all of a sudden started running like crap then died, couldn't start it again. Just found this past weekend that the crank sensor did in fact come loose and was getting banged up by the interupter ring...
