what are your guys thoughts about weld in cages? and what are the ups and downs?

so i was trying to find one for my HA and was seeing rjc but it says its for a 4.1 stage 1 block. so my question is where can i find one for my stock 84 block? :confused: thanks josh

i got it runing and ripped the motor out and tranny. have everything for the motor but a turbo and new bolts. still got the old ones heres a list block bored out .40 over speed pro pistons, stock crank and rods. balanced comp cam flat tap ported and polished heads with stainless steel power...

ok so my goals a 10 sec car:o barely streetable car something i just drive on sunday mornings lol and just tear up the local track. so for this is what i have and can do some changes if needed the block is bored out .40 over with fordged pistons stock crank and rods dont have billet main caps...

should i run a intake gasket that has a valley pan or not? ir what should i do for intake gaskets sense comp cams talked me into getting a bigger cam and it does me no good now i have to get a new one again so im looking into roller rockers now and my motor is pretty much built bersides some...

its a custom grind 69-000-5 from comp the specs are 224/224 50 .493lift its new never been out of the box and has been sitting in a heated garage best offer gets it

i seen that there is a $40 adaptor on gbodyparts.com is that all a person need to make that turbo work on are hotair set ups?

ok so far my engine up to date is bored .40 over forged speed pro pistons comp cam 493 lift ported and polish heads matched stock intake stainless steel proflow valves double roller timeing chain in the mail somewhere are my 60lb injetors still got to get $900 for a ta33c hotwire...

im putting together an hotair engine this winter season and this is what i have in mind but dont know if it will be ideal or not. the block has been bored out .40 over because who ever owned it before me overheated it and it had melted piston all over the wall. im thinking on getting forged...

sorry i searched alot with no luck so here i am asking i have a turbo that got ripped off a 301 tta is it a bolt on or is there something i need to do to make it bolt on to my ha buick? and by chance does anybody know what kind of turbo it is for a rebuild kit?
