    Roller cam conversion kit...minus pushrods.

TTT Cam and button alone are worth $300...............make me an offer. Can be used with Comp Cams roller lifters and pushrods as well.

    Roller cam conversion kit...minus pushrods.

New 980's (Z-28 springs) definitely.........there are a few different opinions about spring pressure and rollers. The 258HR is not an aggressive grind at all compared to what's out there....it's a great street grind......so 980's should be good to around 5200 R.P.M. according to my Chevy builder...

I'm selling my car, so I'm selling a roller conversion package that I've been putting together over the last little while. Kit includes: Comp Cams BV69 258HR10 ductile roller cam (206/206 .498 LSA 110)----NEW 12 Hydraulic Roller lifters -----used (cleaned and checked) Retainer plate, 6...

fwd roller and non roller cam parts in gn motor w/pictures

Ok.........so after all that work, I had an offer to buy on my car I couldn't refuse. The fellow who bought it wants it as is, and has no interest in further engine upgrades that improve performance. I'm offering for sale in the Parts for Sale section all the components to make this roller...

O.K. here we go, for better or worse, the final assembly. I'll explain each picture in order. 1) The first picture is the engine with the retainer, spacers, dog bones, lifters, cam.....everything ready for pushrods. With FelPro PT9441 head gaskets the distance is exactly 8.400"...WITH...

fwd roller and non roller cam parts in gn motor w/pictures

O.K. so here's another problem I ran into.......the mounting hole I drilled for my forward retainer support punched into the oil galley......not good, but not that bad either. I'll post a few pics tomorrow showing exactly what happened, and how I worked around it..........but needless to say it...

Oh, I wasn't refering to you, I was refering to me.........I haven't posted any info for a while due to a couple of issues. I gave the impression I would provide info on my build in timely order. P.S. How long are your pushrods, how much were they, and where did you get them? Cheers, Randy.:)

fwd roller and non roller cam parts in gn motor w/pictures

I hate it when guys just quit posting half way through a build.........so sorry I haven't posted an update on my build lately. The whole idea is to keep this upgrade cheep........and beehive springs kind of wreck that idea.......... I stopped the build because I don't want to spend $180 on...

O.K......so we know what may not work.......but could you suggest a spring in the 130lb. range with similar coil bind properties to the 980 that would work?

I haven't built the engine yet...........it happens this week. I was hoping someone had a similar project on the go and would chime in. I'm picking up a 7.80-8.80 pushrod length checker tomorrow, and will start the build this week. Stay tuned for cam install pics.....I'll have lots of...

    Who runs a NA Crank???

So has anyone actually broken one??? Not rumours of breaking one, but actually seen a broken NA crank used in a Turbo Buick? Where did it break?

    Who runs a NA Crank???

Here's my problem.........spun a rod bearing and ruined my crank. I have a well seasoned naturally aspirated crank........std/std and very nice with no cracks. So, do I look for an unknown (mabey abused) turbo crank just to get the rolled fillets on the rods, or do I use the NA crank??? I'm...
