You should go back and delete anywhere you have posted the vin. Number. This is a public forum and you don't know who might be poking around.
Does the car still have the spid label under the trunk lid. It is a white rectangular label with the vin number and several rows and columns of three character codes.
The code for grand national is WE2 . Look for that. Make sure the vin on the label matched your vin on the dash.
