Brake Lever Problems
I spent 3 hours on the job last night and it still isn't fixed. Everything was easy except the top right bolt cause I've never bought a swivel set so you couldn't get the rachet with extension up there so it was click turn, click turn. I can't seem to get the stupid brake...
How'd that stop leak work out? I''ve always heard horror stories about using stuff like that. Plus this stuff not only runs to the hydroboost but to the power steeering pump and the steering rack:eek: I'd hate to ruin that.
I guess I'm going to break down and change it. Is there anything tricky I should know about when replacing it? I see a shaft runs through the middle of the unit. Is it hard to get your hands on the end of it to disconnect it? I'm not sure how all that works together so will it affect my master...
My hydroboost is leaking power steering fluid. I chnaged all the pressure lines that run to it and that cleaned it up some. It still seems to be leaking from the actual booster though. Is there a way to seal it up without buying a new $150 part :eek:? The picture I have of one looks like its not...
That's the one I was thinking it would be. # inch inside, 5 inch base, 4 inchish top, and 8 inch long. I just didn't want to order it since I couldn't see it and know it would work.

Can somebody tell me what Filter they're using just off the stock MAF for a cone? I know a cold air would be better but money is tight right now and the car needs other things. M ystock air box is all rigged up though so I'm sure a K&N cone will be better than nothing.
We hooked a scanner up to it Saturday night and took it for a spin. The ECM is calling for the TCC on at about 43 mph. However, when I'd hit the brakes it would not shut the TCC to off. The harness is still plugged in and the switchs look to be working. I think its just the solenoid.
I dropped the kick panel and both are in place and look fine. I must have knocked lose something cause now my climate control is jsut blowing out the top and bottom:mad:
Well, the switch I messed with is the one under the kick panel that is nylon and 'pushes' into teeth that hold it in place. It turns on the brake lights when the button is released which is how I noticed my switch problem since the brake lights were on. I knocked it loose install the power trunk...
Well, the tranny has been great so far but I recently noticed the lock out isn't working anymore. To make sure its not masking itself by going in with overdrive (only 3 shifts) I tapped the brakes while doing 60 and the tranny did not drop out of lock out which tells me its never going in. What...
