this is a comp. eng. steel carrier bearing cap for a 12 bolt chevy rear end. also fit my 71 vette rear end and maybe some other chevy or g.m. applications. will require drill and tap for 1/2 inch bolts. this is for the ultimate bullet proof set ups. 40.00 plus ship

this is my 2004r project. went a different direction with a different hot rod. 85 monte carlo, had about 5000 miles when i got it. was and is in very good condition. has ck valvebody kit,new in box hughes pan (hp3880),hard stator support with an extra one,extra spring forward piston...

stack plates are much better than tube and fin. radiators are stack plate design not tube and fin.

yes, i'm going to take it down to check things out. maybe try a different way to take up output shaft end play. didn't have the washers on hand so i put an extra snap ring (.062) on the sun gear. i'll have to get some of the washers from one of the suppliers. this trans had about .052 end shaft...

i did use the wide bushing and installed it with a bushing driver,went well. i think the small nylon output shaft washer is too thick.i'll try to get a few of them next week. i did a test fit to see if the center support would go all the way down and seat on the ledge it is supposed to be on.it...

been checking it without drums loaded. i think the nylon washer on the output shaft is too thick. it measures .095. put the center support on without direct and forward in to see if the center support will go all the way down so i can put the snap ring on. all was good. hope to get some time...

hi. i seem to be having a problem trying to get center support play. the center support does not want to go all the way down so the snap ring will go on. it seems to bottom out on the direct drum and i cannot see the two bolt holes where the center support bolts go. i put some gear marking...

thanks for the reply. did not bleed out on the bench when checked. i had a previous reply on the rubber tip on my air hose. i'll have to fabricate a smaller tip,mine is just too big, i can't get it to seal against the cup plug very well.

thanks,i'll recheck the rubber tip on the hose. rubber tip plug is installed. i had about 60 psi in the hose but i forgot that the hose and lines is about 100 feet away from trans. probably some resistance in the lines.
