OK, OK! I think they get it now. Jeez. Bad visions spinning through my head. I'm damaged for life.

Sorry Don! I didn't realize it was THAT easy to describe a certain member of the board and produce such horrible visions....:D

they also let you meet Buba in jail, he likes nice young guys!!!!!!!!!!

....especially the self proclaimed "models" with big mouths:eek:  [/QUOTE]

I see the TROLL is back No need to hate because Im better looking than you ;), note to thyself put TROLL SH*TVOTA on ignore. ;)

Not that I really want to get involved in this, but if it is so damn easy to race at a track than why haven't you ever gone to one and put down an 11 second or 10 second pass and call it a day. I love that instead of taking it to a safe environment with tires that can actually handle the power you would rather do it on the street on crappy tires. You keep saying you don't want to spend all your days under your hood huh? Well isn't it you who blew a head gasket about a month ago street racing an STI. Well, so much for having a reliable car not to mention you never get under the hood anyways all of us know you just pay Lou to fix it and than bitch about the job he did...EVERYTIME. Either get up and go make that 10 second pass or stop acting like your car is something that it isn't.
Brian

I don't like working on my own car ;) whats wrong with that., but I did spend quite a few days helping a Fellow GN owner put his own car back together I enjoy that much better than working on my own, Plus I don't need to have a little paper that tells me my car goes 11's or 10's look at my SIG and you tell me if it does or doesn't. ;), furthermore I have never bitched about Lou working on my car only when he makes mistakes and Im there to catch em in time, no punt intented if you read this Lou, I bet my car is more reliable than yours and it gets better gas mileage too, if you want me to put down a Low 11 or high 10 second pass, buy Me some C16 and A set of slicks and I'll be more than happy to do for yah ;), You remind me of the Troll Member SH*TVOTA.

TALK IS CHEAP.

TALK IS CHEAP.

It Is a lot cheaper to talk than to do a rebuild at least thats what my common sense tells me, Do you have any? I will Just Let your imagination go wild and take A guess at what my car will run if you say 13's I will be happy with that :), because I am not going out and beat up on my car on behalf of a few curious george just to prove a point., Just like Brent said earlier my car is a Conversational piece and nothing more. :)

how much c16 do you need? I'll bring you 5 gallons, that should make about 5 passes in your economical gas sipping gn. Let me know. And I think Pete offered to lend you a pair of slicks. Let him know.:)

Not gonna waste my time running on an 1/8 mile track I will do some tuning runs near my house where there is a nice long stretch about 1/2 mile Long that should be enough to tune in the new turbo to 24psi. :)

Deal Bring em on the 13th Including the wheel Nuts because those wheels require special nuts and I will lay down a number for you all. :)

I'll be keeping my eye on you in the rear view ;) Thanks guys for making this happen YES!!! Wait, wiked are you drinking? Is this some kinda sick joke? Are you gonna really do this, or is this wishful thinking?

SYTECH Is On The Road Once Again

Not that I didn't worry a little bit, but it was sure nice to hear the car start up this afternoon. No leaks, no smoking, no bag of leftover parts. Oil pressure jumped up right away, we burped the radiator to get the air out, ran it at various rpm's for 10 minutes, took it for a quick 1 mile spin, ran it through the car wash, and got it ready for the car show this evening.

It has sat in front of my house in various stages of dis-assembly / re-assembly for 2 months, and more than once during the rebuild I had to pull out the book to verify what went back where. Even though every wire connection was marked, and all the nuts, bolts & washers went into marked baggies, it is still tough to remember after it being apart for so long.

Big props again to Harold & Mike for the wrenching support. Everyone can say what they want about Harold not wanting to race at the track, but he and Mike did wrench their asses off helping me strip the engine down & putting it back together...Thank you !

I put a whole 27 miles on the car this afternoon thanks to the get together at Sonic Burger in Fullerton tonight. Brent, Mike, myself , & Jesse represented for the TRs to the GTO, Mustang, F-Bodies, & Vettes also at the get together

Everyone had to come over and check out the Grand Nationals. It was funny listening to the guys stating matter of factly that the GN's had V-8's, twin turbo's, 500 hp stock, low 12's high -11's right off the dealer floors....lol....and who were we to correct them....over all a great gathering with good friends

It really feels nice to be behind the wheel of the GN again. Even though I own a 2006 300C SRT-8, and even when I had the Sunbeam Tiger, the Lightning, the Syclone, the Typhoon, the Callaway Twin Turbo Vette, the SSR, I still enjoy driving the GN most of all

What a sickness

So far so good on the engine, I tickled 10 psi on the way home tonight and I plan to put a couple hundred miles on it before (re-torquing the heads) Irwindale on Thursday & Fontana on Saturday.

I'm not sure if i'll be boosting back up to 27 psi for Saturday, but who knows, if it is still running great, I'll tweak the F.A.S.T. program a bit and get it back into "Jungle Buggie" mode. Worst case I break it again:eek: and have to tear it down all over again

Later everyone,

Ray
