Chuck Leeper Toxic old bastard Staff member Joined May 28, 2001 Nov 11, 2023 #3 Rear wheel cylinder leaking onto the shoes will glue them to the drum. Take the wheels off, and use a heavy plastic hammer to shock the drums.

B BDG71 New Member Joined Nov 10, 2023 Nov 14, 2023 #5 Hey Chuck...you were right...a few whacks with the hammer freed up the brakes. Im thinking the humid summer months some how made the brakes stick just enough to be a problem. Serves me right for not taking out my car more. Thanks again all!!
