I have a 4.1 block for sale in Oswego, IL. I don't having the casting numbers off hand, but it's an early block. Doesn't have a knock sensor hole, so I think it's a 1980. I can send pictures tonight if you're interested. b4black@flash.net
I have a rare 044 block that has all the Same good stuff as the 291 . I bored the number one hole out to 4” so it still has to go to the machine shop to match the other 5 holes . I have gone through it with a grinder and removed all the casting slag . Shoot me a message if you are still needing one
That’s all good idk if u read the what I wrote but this block has all the same features that make the 291 desirable. It’s all good I’m going to build it anyway .

Because I actually started to bore it out and I finished one cylinder then was unable to get back to my buddy’s shop to do the rest . I’m just going to build it as I have a regal limited that’s just begging for a turboed 4.1 to be in her . Bench seat column shift with 500ish to the wheels should be a super fun sleeper
I have a built shortblock I’m looking to sell. Polished stock crank and rods, forged pistons, girdled, and roller cam. Just freshened and running in my car. 2700.00
