WITH OR WITHOUT HOOD ??

I figure I would share pics of this 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner ,Thrusting 1100 HP. I attended the local auto fair ,and this ride was displayed in the exotic exhibit.

I'm sure there is enough money into the build to probably have bought an exotic and that induction is pretty far out there. Probably would make just as much power and have better drivability with a less "exotic" build. As far as the hood? For the static display no hood is fine but imho I feel like it is not a complete car without a hood. Same thing with all of these "patina" show cars. Now an unrestored original is one thing but if it is hot rodded or modified then shine beats rust every time. If you're going to put that much money into a build then go ahead and finish it by putting some paint on it.

But since it will most likely be parked for most if not all of its life, no hood is ok, shows off the cool plumbing. :cool:
 
Reminds me of the crazy customs we'd see at the big car shows during winter.
