Can you use a Ford "remote" Starter Solenoid 1/2 between the igntion and the starter to fix a weak solenoid to ignition contact? I had a weak starter in my 67 Camaro and used one with some advice of a friend, and the starter is REAL strong now. Just curious :)

Also , I bought two starters a few years ago ... and I forgot which is for what engine. I either purchased them for a 96' LT1 camaro , 67' 327 camaro, or the Syclone (small block style). Will they work for our TTA's? If I can use one ... which would you choose?

Left:
Cast AC DELCO 10455709 - Gear Reduction Starter Assembly
- Mini High Torque Starter for LT4
Fits: 1992 - 1996 Corvette
Technical Notes: Use with 12 3/4" OD flywheel.
V8 5.7L 350cid GAS FI N Engine VIN = 5
V8 5.7L 350cid GAS FI N Engine VIN = P

Says Denso on a sticker, it may be rebuilt.
11 tooth gear.

Right:
No Casting, Looks new , but looks universal (billet mounting block ). Generic? (512 282 stamped in ink)
starter gear sticks out 1/2" more than the ac delco one
electrical posts in the rear use one male and one "plug in type"
Its the same size as the AC Delco one , so I am GUESSING its a high torque one too?
A search related it to a Bosch Preferred Pro part, but I am not sure.

11 tooth gear

Thanks :) ---

I am leaning towards the DENSO AC DELCO unit ... but I just need to know if they bolt up to our block, or take modification (besides shims).

THANKS :) ---

Bolts are in-line.

I have used the Denso starters for years on many Buicks, including mine, and all have given trouble-free service. :)
