Where did you?????

I put in a boost gauge last weekend. I have the ground for the light hooked up. The question I have is where is a good place to get power when the lights turn on so the gauge has light at night?

There is a empty power connection in the fuse box marked lights. Easy enough?

I tapped into the dimmer switch lead.....

I'm pretty sure the location on the fuse box is labelled "INSTR" - I tapped that spot.

That is correct. I figured if he could not figure that out he should not be trying to wire his own car.

If you are mounting it on a console pod just tap into the the light for the shift indicator if you have a floor shift. For a pillar pod just go from the fuse box like the others mentioned.

I used the bolt under the dash by the e brake release.

I try not to since I don't know what I am doing half the time.

That is why I come here for the help.

Thanks to some of the guys on here I was able to get through my first headgasket R&R.
