Rolling Stones play at State Form Stadium on 8/27/19

Ringo Starr and friends play at The Celebrity Theater on 8/27/19

Heart and Joan Jett at a Casino tonight.......

Not one ticket available for less than $200, not ONE, ever.

Way past their prime, but still drawing crowds who will pay stupid money to see them..... I should have listened back in the '60's and "learn to play the guitar"............

I think you're more broke than old. No, I'm kidding Haha. Those prices are ridiculous.

"Forget about all that macho shit and learn how to play guitar."
John Mellencamp

When you walk by a mirror & all you see is either gray, silver, or white.

WTF?

I just saw KISS at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater. It was great except, my GN broke down. Still working on it.

Ticket prices are insane now. Let's harken back to the 80s with $12.50 tickets and general admission. Good times. I'm feeling older everyday to bro.

I would rather pay $100 for these old bands then pay $200 for the crap music of today.

Not a big fan but this guy has the right perspective on ticket prices.
One of the reasons for his success is thinking out of the box.

Check this out:

Hmmm... I'm not able to locate the full interview. Fairly humble guy for a Rock Star.

Half my ticket price went to Ticketmaster service, taxes and fees.

We have a nice music venue nearby that is pretty popular with the older bands that don't draw the big crowds anymore. The prices are reasonable and there is not a bad seat in the house. The last band we saw there was Gary Hoey. He's a local guy.

Go on you tube in a couple of days after the concert and listen and watch it for free without all the old squaws yelling and screaming in your ear, "See me Ringo, see me"!!!

Personally, there are very few artists I would pay that amount of money for. Most of those that I would are dead. Son House, Hendrix, Wiliie Dixon, Little Walter, Muddy Waters to name a few.

With the advances in technology, I watch most of current artist on TV and the internet.

If someone gave me front row tickets to most of today's artists, I would place them on a random windshield in a parking lot.
