What hydrolic roller cam grinds are out there?

I am aware of the following hydrolic roller cams:

206/206
210/210
212/212
218/218
224/224

Is there anything between the 218/218 and 224/224? If so who makes it and who sells it? Also add to the list if there are any other grinds that I did not list. Thanks.

ALSO - What valve spring pressure should be run on a 10 sec car. 150-170 on the seat?

cam

218-224 with .500 intake lift and .520 exhaust
Crane 99846 springs
147 lbs. @ 1.750 installed height
363 lbs. @ .500 lift
The cam is Comp Cam--but I would not use their roller lifter again as the last 2 sets I bought had some defective plungers. They will replace them since they know there are some bad ones out. What irkes me is you have to pay all expense. Their mistake, but you have to foot all shipping cost. Not a good way to get my repeat business. I/m sure my little purchases are not going to hurt them but if enough people know about them --well maybe.

This one was posted a little whlie ago...

and seemed like a pretty good pick...

Mike Licht- Full Throttle
Buick Turbo "Revolution X3" street cam
Latest tubo technology camshaft for use with newer high flow turbos. Specs:
Intake 218 @ .050 .460 lift
Exhaust 222 @ .050 .479 lift
112 L/S (installs at 110)
(lift with stock rockers)

Also, I would give Dan Strezo at DLS Engine Development a call (219-956-3653) and see what he thinks will work best with your combination...

Ken Duttweiler will also do custom grinds.
We have a nice one in the Potato Car.

I have a Erson 220 with 4degs advance built into it. Not sure if it is still available though. Cam idles great and has run 10.70s so far. Bob.

Any reason you want to go so big? Is it only a race car? The 218/218 will go mid 9s no sweat.......Here's some you missed.

212/206 ATR/Crane Billet (went low 10s with this cam, Comp 941 springs)
214/210 ATR/Crane Billet (I run this cam with 157 seat, 330 open, Comp Beehives, went low 10s also but more MPH)
218/212 Comp Ductile (I'll know pretty soon how this cam runs, went 170 seat, 390ish open)

Comp Cams billet roller cam PN#67-000-9

I'm now running a "Baby Roller" in my car, runs nice.

204/204, .440" lift with stock rockers

I'm running 1.65 T&D's so it works out to .470" for me.

Runs excellent. Considering Jim Hicks went 10.68 on a stock cam, with stock heads, I figured that this was more than enough for my daily driver......

:)

Before going out to buy a cam, find out how much your heads flow then buy the cam accordingly.

Also forgot Comp 214/214 billet hyd roller
