What drag radial can I safely run on stock chassis?

I currently am running a 235/60 15 tire on stock GN rims. I'd like to run a 28" tall DR tire and mount it my stock GN rims for now. Will a 28X9X15 fit without rubbing? What's the consensus on tires nowadays? Hoosier, Nitto, ET street?

I run M'T Drag radials 295 55 15's with no air bags, H&R bar. Metco uppers and lowers and a rolled lip. No problem. Ran 275 Nittos before rolling the lip with no problem. Not sure about the stock rims though. I run 15x10 Drag Stars 4/5 backspace.

275/60/15 Nittos on stock rim here. Slight bulge but fit just fine, I don't think you could really go much wider safetly though. Depending on how centered your rearend is and ride height, you could have some rubbing too, rolled lip and adjustable uppers will give you plenty of room.

275-60-15 MT ET Streets....on stock T wheels on 3 of my friends cars.
