Weld up drivers side header

Any suggestions who could weld my drivers side header up? Not many good places that weld little things around me, especially with Tig welding...

Any recommendations appreciated

Brian Cotton of Cotton's Performance can do it.

They are in Mass. near Springfield.

Grab a 6 pack and show up at a muffler shop :15 before closing time.

You'd be amazed at how many people will weld it for free once they realize you're the type of guy to forget you set your beer down.

Yeah but will that weld hold up? I just went with a new header from Kirbans. Once & done.

Not sure. The last time I used the beer method was in the early 2000's. I can let you know when it fails.

Glad it worked out for you. I've had 2 welds on stainless steel both let go. Clearly the expertise of the welder is the main factor. I didn't want to take a chance on having to redo the header.

Exactly.. needs to be Tig welded by someone who knows how to weld well...

I guess I should expect my MIG joint to fail real soon then. Mine was welded by an alcoholic that was ready to get off work.
