Weld alumastar 17x4.5 fronts

I want to do something different. Has anybody ever seen these used as front wheels?

They're not cheap but I really think they'd be worth it. I'm guessing 1.75 on the backspace ..... Please get em and post pictures to confirm how great they'd look!
 
I plan on those as well for my drag setup. U need a 17" min front wheel with c5/c6 brakes

So the 15x3.5 with 1.75 backspace are out of the question I'm guessing?
 
Honestly I'm not positive on that. I think my pro stars 15x3.5 have that offset and they won't fit on my car with out a spacer and that's with the ls1 12" setup. The rotors actually push the tire away from the caliper about a 1/4" . The caliper hitting the wheel is the issue. A 1/4" spacer might work but I don't believe it's nhra legal to run spacers.
 
These are Weld Alumastar's, 15 x 3.5 with 2.25" backspace. I'm using Wilwood brakes, no clearance problems...
