I want to know all the ignition systems that work with 86/87's without distributor.
I know of the tr-6 and stock.
Which, if any of others, are the better?

I been running type 2 ignition for quite some time. Others have reported issues with it but mine has been rock solid for a few years now.

Me too. Probably 20+ years on a $10 module and coils from the u-pick-it yard.

The stock ignition has gone mid 10's with regularity with E85 ... NO issues at all ... this is from personal experience on MANY Turbo Buicks

I know of cars that are running in the 9's ( LOW 9's) on stock ignitions with no issues or break ups

    Sure you need a TR6 ?
