Turbo install tips

I have a replacement stock turbo to put back on. I have the turbo about set but the shield bracket doesn't want to quite match up perfectly with the holes. If I get the bolts to the block in then the holes to the turbo don't want to fit and vise versa. Any tips to getting everything to match up?

Leave the bolts for the bracket a little loose so that you can maneuver the bracket into place. Once you have the bolts on the shield attached to the bracket, then you can tighten up the bolts on the block.

Worst case is that you need to ream out the holes on either the bracket or the shield a bit to allow it to fasten down. You can use some nice stainless steel washers and bolts to cover up enlarging the hole on the shield while still having it look real clean.

checkout www.alloyboltz.com for good, cheap bolts.

I just did this the other night and had to do some manipulation and slight prying to get everything to line up. Got it to work. Keep working with t and as everyone said you may have to ream some of the holes
