I found a plastic turbo buick in my basement the other day, i remembered playing with it often when i was a kid but it never occured to me what kind of car it was. The car was made by Strombecker and is supposed to look like a stock car but clearly has a turbo hood, looks to be an 81-83. Anybody seen one of these? i can get pics up if you would like to see

I think I know the one you're talking about. I picked up a couple a while back.As far as I know they made two different colors. One was yellow and one was red. Both had black hood bulges. Both say regal on the stickers.

I've got one too...

Here's a picture......

You know there's a bunch I don't have.....

Like those sweet pre-production pieces....test shots....and that
prototype Tiger Wheels....not to mention the 1 of 25 JL Toy Time GN:eek:

But I do have a fairly complete collection of the 5-pack Regal variations
by Racing Champions....if anyones interested I'll post pics....

Great find on the Regal budget_CRX.........

Hey George.....

I'm not sure of the scale size maybe 1/43......

They measure out around 6 inches.

Bought them off Epay awhile back....$5.24 shipped to the door
for both of them from a seller in Dade City, FL.

cool, I thought they might be 1:18 or something, I have a cheap plastic Richard Petty 43 Regal in that size.

Is there a date of manufacture on them? Can we get a photo of the underneath markings?

Nice list John......

There's still a few you need to add .......

I don't see the Racing Champion's 5-pack variations that I sent
to you....or did I overlook them?

Excellent reference.....You're the man....
