Are these rules set in stone? 18. kicks me out. I have the Baseline Suspension uppers. The bracket is bolted in the stock location. It just helps with adjustment of the IC. Is it that big of a deal?

Rules are set in stone. That is unless we need to add clarification or I just plain F---ed something up.

I think you are in cahoots with my chassis guy. Guess I have to change uppers so I can race! No biggie but I will vote they are allowed next year to get them off the storage shelf!

If very close why not possibly run TTS on Friday and THS on Saturday?? This gives people the option to race more than 1 race that alot of people drove 10+ hours to get to the track..

I don't get it, front mount intercooler but no external pumps? Nothing screams race car more than a front mount. Was hoping it'd be closer to TSA than THS/TSM. Good luck guys! Any class you fit is in fun to race though.

I agree, I personally would like it to be a SLIC class. But increased participation is the goal, nobody wants to run in a 3 or 4 car class.
I think we need to give the new rules a chance and thank Bill for all the work he has done.

I wasn't knocking the class, it'll be awesome for anyone not wanting to go up against full on race cars like we have in THS, I thought TSA was a cool concept, I built my car inspired by it. I didn't really see any other racecars with a semblance of the stock shield and SLIC except TSA, and every one pretty much runs a front mount. I know SLIC are just as capable with alky as a front mount, and the 62 is the limitation, plus the SLIC was already done in TSA.

Seems like THS lite ...

Basically a smaller turbo . Classes with too many rules lower the car count.

Aftermarket shifter is OK but not an external guage ?

Aftermarket sway bar OK but relocation control arms not ?

Bryan

My thought, limit then turbo size say 61or 62mm,bring the weigh up to a real street weight around 3700lbs any fuel system and any tire pretty much anything else and let them race.basically scale it chech compressor size and go

so no aftermarket alum heads ? TA or champion ? they have the stage 2 bolt patterns so they could be considered stage heads

Ta or champion aluminum are allowed in the 8 bolt configuration. Must fit/use factory lower intake manifold.

ok the heads i currently have has 16 bolts but they are on a 109 block .....and it has a stock manifold....

So empty bolt holes are illegal ???

Bryan

Na, we will say empty is ok, bolts/studs filling all of them will be illegal. We will allow both 8 or 16 bolt aftermarket aluminum heads but can use only 8 fasteners to hold them in place.
