A long time friend of mine was telling me when he just joined the navy , they were filming that movie and a few scenes were filmed on his ship( can’t remember the ship but he told me)
And mr Cruise was walking around wanting to be saluted like a real officer around the regular enlisted sailors.
I guess you can imagine how that went.
A lot of fuck off/ fuck you etc...

The original was good, a little corny but good. You can be assured the new one will be p/c especially when you see they now have to have a squaw "fighter" pilot. Hope her period is late. Won't pay to go see it but would probably get the dvd when it comes down in price.
Cruise has made some good movies but just don't like him as a person, arrogant, one of those goofy scientology loons and unless hes changed as libtard as they come. Wonder what color L'Oreal he uses, girls want to know.

I have a friend who served on CV-64 Constellation and he said the same thing. Cruise wanted salutes and aye aye sirs. Same response. A lot of kiss my ass/fuck you ect. Still was an exciting movie at the time
Back in the day when carriers had real names, Constellation, Essex, Intrepid, Lexington, Hornet, Independence, Saratoga, etc. Would love to have the CVN-77 renamed to one of the former than after that old new order globalist douche bag.

Yeah, launched about 59 and glowed in the dark the radiation shielding was so poor. I wonder how many of those poor guys that served came down with something. Still very impressive for the time though.

Truth be told it’s been proven that women are physically more adapt / better suited for fighter pilot duty. It’s been years since I read the study, but, it has to do with a woman’s back side being where they hold blood which gives them a higher resistance to passing out in high G maneuvers.
I was an air traffic controller in the Air Force at the time when the study came out. Which oddly enough was circa the original top gun even. And we had to read every aviation bulletin known to man. Most of which were boring as hell. But, this created quite a stink and it was talked about quite a bit. So, I guess that’s why I still remember it so well.
The original movie was Decent, hope this one isn’t cornballed up, but, my guess it will be.
And I can’t imagine anyone saluting cruise! First of all they’d have to see him, and being the midge boy he is, he’s only what like 5’4” - 5’5”??

I've kept myself away from bikes most of my life because I had zero fear of speed when I was younger and I absolutely knew I would kill myself on one.
