I bought a set of these for almost 100 bux from summit, they were on the car for only 100 miles or so, then I pulled the motor and had the wires in the trunk of my car for a year or so. Now that I have the motor done, I get the wires and notice a few of the plug boots on the coilpack end are dry rotted and disinegrate to the touch. Can't get replacement boots for 10.4s from taylor , their customer service is terrible.

I did end up putting 8.8 boots on and they will work fine, but for the money, I will stay away from taylor "next time".:D

Wierd I have those wires and have never seen or heard of that happening before. Did something get spilled on them while they were off the car? It just sounds a little too wierd for only 100 miles on them.

I really wish I knew if somethig got on them, but I doubt it. I just wish taylor would support their products a little better.

bump.... chasing a miss at 5 psi.

replaced plugs
coil pack
module, ran 8 gauge ground wire from module to block
cleaned up all other grounds
ran 0 gauge gnd wire from battery to block ( helped my charging voltage, and the starter spins faster)

The miss still exists,

the next thing on the list was wires, pulled #1

And the end broke right off.

Yes I was guilty of buying another set of Taylor’s
