Just a reminder, the tach pic-up by the alternator is a 12v pulse signal and requires a free floating movement tach vs. a hall effect HEI style tach.
I'm sure you already know this and it was just me that had to find out the hard way trying several different types of tachs.
I ended up talking to Autometer direct back in '88 as no one had a clue, including myself. Lol
