Ta-49 with billet inlet bell. Shaft has no play and has about 2500 miles on it. Has water cooled center section.

I would like $400 shipped.

Is that a ball bearing turbo? Only reason I can think it'd be water cooled and def not a TA49. May be equivalent but looks nicer than any other TA49 I've seen.

GLWS, sounds like a great deal.

It was a turbo that my dad had and that was what he was told.

I'm positive it is not a ball bearing turbo. The price my dad paid for it back in the day was not ball bearing turbo money.

I can try to get specs on the wheels to clarify the identity of this turbo. It spools well and runs up to 26-7 psi on the big end quite well.

Will write back with more info.

Ok so the wheels measure

Compressor

Major. 2.950
Minor. 2.285

12 blades total but 6 main blades

Exhaust wheel

Major. 2.282
Minor. 1.965

Those are approximate measurements because the uneven blade count makes it hard to measure accurately.

11 blades total

Garrett .63 a/r housing

So I think most of that info leads to a ta49 but if not I'm open to education.

Thanks

Jerry

It's a ta49. Any t3/t4 can be had with a water cooled housing.
