T-400 converter feed restrictor??

Am considering the removal of the 7/64" restrictor in the converter feed passage on my T-400. [Supposed to reduce thrust brg loading w/ t-brake use.]
I am doing this to confirm/ eliminate the possibility of reduced oil volume to the converter as a cause for high slippage and subsequent loss of performance.
[Have the same problem, "driving over the converter" on 4 different designs on 2 different brands of converters.]

Has anyone done this mod and found the above problem to be present once done??
TIA,

Hi Chuck, I Know This post is Really old but do you have any info/results from when this was going on? I just installed a ATI Transmissions 400 with brake, ATI 9" 3400 converter. The converter charge pressure mod hadn't been done so I did it. Thanks

AIRC, I found the converter to be a really bad choice. The restrictor stayed in place. The converter went in the scrap bin.
