Steering Shaft

What is everyone using for the steering shaft?

My rag joint is shot. Do I replace the rag joint?
I read people are using Jeep shafts? If So, would anyone know what year jeep or if you have a part number?
Also, Kirban sells one too. Anyone have experience with that one?

I was looking at just buying the rag joint from Kirban. Just wasn't sure if getting the whole shaft would be better.

Is your steering pretty firm with the rag joint?

The steering is very firm. No need to replace the whole shaft. I also replaced the tie rod ends as well. My steering box was fine. I am very happy with the part. Brad

Picked mine up at the junkyard. I’ve got 3 of them. If you want one you can have it for what I paid $30 plus shipping. I have the better ones with the half inch bolt
