Spark Plug Choice

Has anyone found a spark plug similar to the NGK BCR8ES, but one heat range hotter? The 8's load up with soot when driving around town in slow stop and go traffic. My car's engine has GN1 P&P heads, 9.5:1CR, 224/224 cam, 6766, etc. The NGK BCPR7ES looks close, but is not non projected.

Is the afr to rich? and what ecm are you on?

I run brisk plugs and have nothing but success with them racing or street driving.

Thanks, all. The computer used is the EcuGn. The car runs great. When loping around town, it is a bit rich with the AFR correction of approximately -3 to -5.
