Source for Fabricated Valve Covers

I'm looking for a supplier of aluminum sheet welded valve covers. I know I've seen them before but perhaps they were custom made. Was hoping for something off the shelf.

No good. You gotta have them made.

But I'm curious. What for? Is it for the look?

You can buy valve cover spacers and have a fabricator use them as the base for the sheet metal work.

Or you buy Champion covers, have them polished, and then have a welder run beads all along the angles. If done properly, it would be almost impossible to tell they were cast.

Check with SRE fabrication. I believe he is in Wisconsin. He does a lot of Buick V8 stuff, and I’m pretty sure he’s also done some V6 parts too. He is a really good welder.
