What was the range of the pressure gauge SMC supplied with the old style round in tank pump, single jet non progressive style kit? Does anyone know what pressures this system produced at max setting? Also, is the E7012 still the best replacement pump for this old style without going external.

100 P.S.I. Ashcroft gauge, approx. 2" diameter.

I've had the Chrysler pump in my car now for about 10 years no issues. Ethanol use with lube every now and then.

I stuck a Walbro 255 in place of the Chrysler pump in the jug. Had to enlarge the jug opening a bit. Works well for my street setup. Don’t have a pressure gauge on it.
It’s old school for sure, I don’t run a lot of boost 22# max.

Awesome. Thank you. One more question please. What is the approximate pressure that pump produced on max 10.

Since these old SMC units used EFI fuel pumps, the pressure was probably less than 100 psi. The Walbro pump flows more volume than the Chrysler pump.
