Got a wild hair and decided to tear the console out and install a new shifter. I purchased a B&M stealth ratchet shifter from a forum member on here and am just going to town on it. I can tell you this, it does not appear to be too, too complicated but it is a total custom install. I was able to get the front bolted in, but am going to have to drill holes in the aft to make it fit. Take a look and see what you think so far—I think it sits up kind of high, but I forgot that the console covers it. For those of you that installed one doesn’t the console insert need to come out. I’m talking about the plastic inserts inside that are in the middle of the console?
