Shifter cable too long

Installing a B&M stealth ratchet shifter and it only comes with a 5ft cable. Will it be okay to route It a different way to take up the slack as long as it isn’t done with sharp bends?

Yes it will be perfectly fine to route it any way u need just as long as it isn’t to close to your exsaust and doesn’t kink

run it off the pass side behind the rear trans mount .. fits fine that way
