Call me stupid, I swore that the last car I done was it so now I find myself without a project going through withdrawal . I'm looking for a Grand National solid roof car that hasn't been butchered . What I'm able to pay will depend on miles & condition. Appreciate any leads . Regards Lou

I need a Scotch on the rocks, my shoulder is sore right here.. lower lower lower :D and don't you pay out double on Tuesdays?

Sorry Lou. Good luck on your search.

You know you will have better luck at a slot machine in a casino than you will working on and selling a Buick.

Better yet go buy some land and build a real drag strip somewhere in Riverside ( the boonies ) and you can charge all of us freaks $30 to race our cars. Then once it breaks, we can leave it with you and you can fix them all!!!

Damn that's a pretty good idea...........

Lou,

You and I are kindred spirits, I never seem to learn my lesson either. At least you are smarter than I am and always seem to make a profit. I just work my ass of on the cars I buy and typically lose money just based on the parts I put in them alone. If I made 5 cents an hour for all the hours I've put into Buicks over the years I'd be able to retire by now. ;)

Neal for our knowledge you & I work too cheap & mostly for the love of it, the last car I did paid 13K initially for it. The car sat since 07 & deteriorated. I had Guy paint the car for me we did some trade out for it. the value of parts & labor was about 6-7 K . It needed a power antenna, the Art Carr trans was junk & Julian bailed me out on that one. Tires & battery were replaced, engine compartment was a mess from the mice partying in it. Many parts had to be removed glass beaded & painted. Replaced the rear coil springs with the correct ones, new chip from turbo tweak & the story goes on. I sold the car to a good home for 20 K. So tell me how rich I got off this deal. I put a smile on the new owners face & made a new friend so that is the biggest satisfaction I got. My mistake was paying too much for the car initially that needed a restoration & won't happen again or I can't bother. These cars are getting so old & thrashed that its hard & expensive to bring them back. If the prices don't come up more for the nice cars that are left this will only hasten their demise.

Lou.
I headed out to visit a bar, then a topless joint, and should end up at a
massage parlor,
what time shall I pick you up?
(your wife said to get you liquored up and really drunk before I bring you home)
??????????

Since I'm very religious any references to massage parlors is purely for therapeutic reasons to sooth all the aches & pains from years of dedication working on Buicks & trying to please the sophisticates that I faithfully serve & the burden I must bear. :)

Generally I don't kiss & tell but lately with business so slow I could use the exposure. :D

You are right its a VERY heavy burden dealing with this bunch!!!;)

I found an 87 white/ blue interior regal with 60,000 miles on it bought it from this cantankerous individual that even made me blush. So all of you will now have to contend with my moaning & carrying on with this one. I have a fetish for these white cars they look so neat fixed up. :)

Reggie, your a gentleman and a scholar & there is so few of us left !

Lou is bi polar.. when he has a bunch of work he gets stressed out. when he has no work he"ll call me up asking if I need anything done to the car. I say no Lou the car is not broken maybe next year.

So Lou went and built you, by your own admission, a basically worry free 11.3 TR.

Why you callin' him names?

It is probably too late but I found this solid roof "fixer upper" that is a decent 260 footer.
I mean - I think the roof is solid.
What's between solid and rust? A quasi state of matter. I forget all that science stuff.
