The forged cranks have tapered fillets, so be sure the bearings are not wide enough to bind on the journal. The wide bearings may have to be chamfered on the sides. Will the 95 Park Avenue bearings work on a forged crank Earl?

I tried a set of Federal Mogul 6-3755APA years ago and the bearings were too wide. The FM 6-3755AP was the number for the stock bearings, and they fit ok. The wide bearings fit a stock crank just fine, but locked up on the forged crank. Those numbers are no longer available, but I don't know what replaced them. I would like to know the width on the Park Avenue bearings. Of course, the wide bearings can be chamfered on a lathe with the right holding fixture made from an old rod.
