Rick Percy RIP

Reg West just notified me that Rick Percy passed away about 3 weeks ago front a heart attack. Rick was a big fan of Buicks and had a GNX at one point that was eventually sold to Lee Westrope (cruz57).

That sucks! I can't imagine Rick was that old, maybe 65. He was a bit of a B.S. artist as I recall but not a bad guy. I remember the GNX he had. When he decided to put it back to stock we bought the Stage 2 motor from it for Jason's Limited. For some reason I think Rick had some heart trouble in the past, something to due with fluid around his heart. I never figured he'd be gone so soon.

Jeff,

I'm surprised Rick was that old, it's easy to lose track of time. I remember back to when we were racing the Street Legal Drags at Pomona, I was in my late 20's and Rick was in his mid 50's. Now I'm creeping up toward my mid 50's so I guess it makes sense. None of us are getting any younger.
