Just thought I would share. Quick easy project I did with my 12 year old. Feel free to ask questions.

Original grill. Broken in back but attached with Zip-ties instead of springs

The finished product. Not much difference from the one I removed . This one isn't broken and the spring action works as designed

The whole thing took about an hour . The only reason it took so long is because I spent twenty minutes explaining to a teenager walking by that I wasn't working on a Monte SS.. He went "Hey... Nice Monte".......... Not that there is anything wrong with them....

Should be doing the upper door panels and the rear panels this week. I'll post it.

It wasn't a bad father and son job. My 12 year old enjoyed himself and gave him confidence on working on old cars.

I purchased the new one from a guy of eBay . He said it was "new old stock" but I could care less. Fitment is perfect and the price was right. It has all the right markings. In most cases for our cars I found that the reproduction stuff that is out right now fits better and better quality.

I started the upper door panels and made a post in the how to section. Check it out.
