Removing original post

How about allowing the original poster to have the ability to remove his/her post like on other forums? This would be an option if a post was made in error or if it becomes no longer viable. Having to have the admin do it really makes no sense.

Why couldn't the poster do it on their own if they wished like on other forums.
If you start a thread in the feedback section cussing about a vendor and it blows up, then we follow it to see that it's resolved. It's closed (not deleted) so others can see that everything is good. If it's an ignorant question of a newby it's kept so others might find enlightenment. The biggest reason is because the boss has said that we don't delete threads unless it's absolutely required. We've had neo-nazi, KKK crap, child porn, and spammers which we delete, but try to keep all info that's non offensive for the info.

Curious, who is the boss?

Jay is the boss.

And he'll strike down with great vengence and Fuuuurious anger all those who defy him.
