? Red light under steering column ?

Just wondering if someone knows what the red light under the steering column is for or if maybe its aftermarket?? Looks stock but I have no idea other than if its for an alarm/.? Could get some pictures later on if need be....

Alarm indicator, for sure. Personally, I'd trash the system, as I feel the alarms are not too useful, at best. Do you have keyless entry, and like it? A little more difficult to kill it, in that case.

Thanks for your reply! I think you are right....And yes I would like to install keyless entry/remote start as I have power locks on this Ttype. I've heard it can be a real task so I dont know if I'm up for tackling that project...?/>

But an alarm system all together is exactly what you said, pretty much worthless. All they need is a toe truck. There have been two stolen turbo regals around the area in as little as 4 months. Any recommendations on how to prevent it? I think I would like a low jack system myself
