** Rare 1989 Buick T-Type GREAT CONDITION!! 70 PICS !**

You didn't happen to have this car at the sac and fox casino car show (north of topeka) about 4 years ago did you? I saw one there and talked to the owner for a while, had my GN there, it was about a month after I bought it. As scarce as these cars are I figured it could have been you........

It wasnt me.... I had only owned the car since last year. Now that I have sold it I miss it and want to find another one that I can trade my Daily Driver 1998 Altima for but finding another Rust Free example is proving difficult.

I know my particular T-Type was originally from Arizona, but that it ended up in Kansas in the later part of its life, so that means it could be entirely possible that this was the same car you had seen in Topeka.

Just kinda curious what the owner at the time had said about it, or what he looked like ( was he an elderly man, or maybe a middle aged man or a younger guy like me ? ) It would be very interesting to know the cars history and what it looked like and how it was taken care of before I got it and did my best to turn it back to a Showroom condition car again. :)

To be honest I'm not 100% sure that the car was white, it may have been silver. I do remember it was a guy who was 45ish with a son who was 18ish. They knew a lot about the car and had lots of papers printed off about it. Don't know the mileage but it was a nice car with gray interior (i remember thinking how i'd like to trade him steering wheels). I think they lived somewhere near St. Joseph Missouri.

There were two of these cars sold at an auction near topeka awhile back, big auction with lots of classic cars and parts. Wanted one but as usual I haven't got the money OR space.

Its nice to see that I wasn't the only LeSabre T-Type owner that drove around with all sorts of books, articles, sales ads and such about the car.

Were there any nice Buick LeSabre T-Types at the Auction you attended, if so what were they selling for back then ? Just curious.

I didn't go to the auction, I just saw the ad in the paper. One was black and I don't know about the other. I think they said one was really nice with less than 100K and the other, hell i don't remember. They had pics of them on their website, I might still have the ad laying here in the office somewhere but I wouldn't bet on it. Memory is kinda fuzzy, but I know it was less than two years ago that they sold.
