my stock powerboost system is leaking and rather than continuing to throw money at it, or sport a rebuilt - I am pretty sure its time to go hydroboost. I see Kirban has two bolt in systems avail. Cpb and hydratech. Any thoughts on either of these?

I have the cpb system. Works fine. I haven't had any problems with it. Install was pretty straight forward as well

I just installed my new Hydroboost Kit and I got it from Tallon Hydraulics and it’s the exact same kit that you would get from Hydratech. The kit comes with everything you will need to complete your install. It took me and my buddy about 9 hours to install and the brakes are now very responsive and the car stops well.

I used lines and booster for an 84 TR, and an aluminum mc from I believe a caddy. I'd like to eventually get a wilwood mc to match my front brakes. Between the wilwood 4 piston calipers & the hydroboost it brakes better than my C5

Vacuum assist works well also. I believe it may be easier to install & more affordable.

Can't really go wrong either way.

I installed a Matt Sweeney kit on mine.If it's good for Art Carr,it's good for me haha.Seriously it's a easy install and my car hasn't stopped better.

I installed the Hydratech kit on my car prior to the Nationals. After making a couple of phone calls I made the 1 hour drive down Lebanon, TN and picked up a new hydroboost system. Installation was easy and the directions were straightforward, took around 8 hours to install and bleed the brakes. The kit came with multiple hose ends and fittings for the user to decide which was best suited for the install. The 4-6 week build time is due to disassembly of the unit, painting and baking of the hydroboost unit and master cylinder, reassembly of the unit, and packaging of the kit.
