Question on radiators

With Bob's extender extreme chip the fan will run above the lowered setpoint (175 ON 170 OFF for my car), without the A/C on of course, at highway speeds.

With the A/C on that pressure switch can keep the fan running at any speed including Key ON car not running.

Even at 70 mph you will still see a few degrees drop with the high speed fan on.

High Speed Fan is 226 degree turn on point, idiot light is 250 degrees.
I installed a Spal high speed switch to turn on one fan at 190 degrees. The other fan is controlled by the chip and turns on around 175 or so. It's fun to watch the temperature on the scanmaster get to about 200 and then drop down to 185-190. It then stays at 185-190 as long as both fans are running.

Dave the chart C12 on your second uploaded page contradicts that first diagram with the proper 226 degree turn on point.

So does page 6E3-A3-26.

I think the guy that wrote the manual got confused with the 3 temp. sensors/switches on the car lol.

Some contradictions for sure. On the AC Pressures as well. In my case it doesn't matter much since I've rewired the fans to only come on high.
