Push lock vacuum lines in intake

Good afternoon Buick family I’m in the middle of a new engine build and while I have the intake off I’m considering drilling and taping the back for vacuum line my question is I’ve seen a post where they used 1/16 npt to 1/4 vacuum line . Why can’t I just use straight 1/4 npt to 1/4 vacuum line and what size is the IAT senior and the vacum brake line and any info would help thanks

Get hold of Don Cruz, he has spacers already drilled and tapped,1/2 inch and 1 inch i believe. Also think he has the fittings and lines made up. Save you some tedious work and they look great.

Also watch out for ignition & coil pack interference if tapping the back of the manifold .

The IAT is 3/8 inch NPT.
