PT 6766 Journal Turbo

Are there any individuals running the 6766 Journal non Ball Bearing on the street, and if so can you chime in and tell me what you think about the performance and spool on the streets and overall what you think about this turbo. Street only and not the track. Thank You.

I have a Bison built 6766 journal bearing. It spools well on the street for me, comparable to the TE-61 I had on it before. Caveat is that the combination was thought out before.
-Bison put a Garret exhaust hot side on it to help spool.
-It is matched to my torque converter, originally a PTC 9.5 NL , now a Dave Husek 3521 NL.

Working with Bison, he said save the money on the ball bearing and match it to the TC instead. Worked for me.

I got a jb 6766 with 85 housing it's a beast in the street.Call Dusty from PTC and he will match up a conv. For you.
