Protecting polished parts

Looking for a good protectant that can stop corrosion on these polished parts during storage.
Most times, after the winter storage, anything polished in the engine bay needs a re-polishing in the spring. This is a huge pain in the ass and extremely time consuming. Is there anything out there that does a decent job of protecting polished metals?
I know Eastwood has "Sharkhide", but the reviews aren't the best

I polish with mothers metal or billet polish and corrosion isnt a issue after 6 months or more in winter storage. Is your garage or storage really wet?

Car port with protective covers, so yeah, the atmosphere can get wet. The car itself doesn't get wet.
I use similar polishes in the spring to get everything back, but it's a pain. Especially when trying to do the pulleys and the stock location IC is in the way.

Carport under a cover is the same as sitting driveway engine is exposed the same. There isnt a cure all for alum thats exposed.....polishes help. If your that frustrated then powder coat it

hey bill have you seen these? http://www.rhinoshelters.com/vehicle-storage-protection/41-car-pocket.html its a storage bag /car cover. drive the car on to it then zip it up. then you place a couple bags of silica inside to keep out and condensation. i bet it will help a ton. joel
If you're considering this route, I'd spend a little extra and spring for a Car Capsule. Plus, with such a beautiful car, it would be a shame having it covered and not being able to see it during hibernation(sure you could uncover it, but why if you didn't need to?). They're equipped with an evaporative storage system that comes with a fan that costs about a $1.50 a month to operate. This system helps keep the internal temp consistent and any moisture from condensing on your car. It's heavy duty pvc shell is clear and resists most impacts keeping your car dent/ding-free. And, it basemat is mildew, abrasion, flame, fluid resistant. I know I'd have one or two of em if my garage didn't have an illy-placed, load-bearing beam. http://carcapsule.com

I used one of these when I was storing my car in a similar situation, worked awesome. Only thing is the wind, you don't want the cover flapping around and rubbing against the paint. I used a good car cover and some old blankets. Also I did my best to secure the car "bag" so it wouldn't be free to move around in the wind. This is the one I have.
