One more suspension problem

I hope this is the end. I want to be sure that this ball joint looks egg shaped to someone else. This is the control arm with the bushing problem. Bushings worked out well, went together good. Now I think that this ball joint needs replaced. The boot was trashed and with knowing the bushings were trashed, I think the car was riding on the outside of the ball joint for a while and ovaled it. Here is the pic. Believe it or not, the ball joint they recommend for the upper is a 1976 Vega lower ball joint. Crazy engineering.

Lol it does look bad. It may not hurt anything but if it were me I would change it for sure. Better to be safe than sorry.

Ya, the more I look at it, I think that inner shell is broken. Maybe that's why it feels tight still.
