OFFICIAL: wheel/tire picture thread... show em off!

Who made the wheels? I like!
Hot Air
i went with the AR Shelby 427...there is 3 other companies that make their own version of this Ford wheel, personally i like Foose's vesion best but can't afford 3-4k price. as soon as the weather gets better i'll get the caps figured out and lower it. these come with those bulky tribars yuk..i used some import push in's...i just realized i'm pimping my ride with import and Ford ..doh!

Try here. I have the 5 window High/ Low on mine, but the LT III and the AC III would look cool withe black centers.

Is anyone else running the 15x10 with the 4.5 rear spacing? I love the 295-55-15 that JR'S1QUICK86( TOP OF PAGE 6 IN THIS THREAD...AWESOME LOOKING STANCE) is running, but before I go purchase, I wanted to see a few more with that wheel size and rear spacing. Please post if you have them.

Thanks a ton,

Looking for pictures and wheels specs to fit Nitto 315/35/17, hopefully without a frame notch. Anyone done it? I'm looking to get Billet Specialites wheels 17x10 rear ad 17x8 fronts. My search is resulting with 17x10s with backspacing of 4.75 and 5.5?? Thanks

Thanks quadzila, I've always loved the way your car looks.
Do you know if those rear tires would rub if the car was lowered 1.5-2"?

wheels

thank you for the complement. I do think they would rub on the outer wheel wells because it looks really close on mine. I do have fairly new springs on the car. If the lip was rolled i think it would give the room it would need.

AustinIBEW145's car

Here's a crappy cell phone pic of Austin's car. He has a pretty simple suspension set up that WORKS!!!!!! Here's a list of his suspension:

2000 S10 Blazer front spindles and 11" Brakes

Moog 5658 front springs (1" drop, 579 spring rate)

Poly Bushings in both upper and lower A arms:
(we dont like poly but we got a good deal on these arms with the bushings already installed and Austins were gone in his originals! So, we figured what the heck, lets use them!)

Rear Duralast 5379 non variable rate springs :
(I have found these to work very well for applications that need to be lower but these wont fall out while the car jacked up. These are stock replacement springs but unlike other stock replacement brands, these sit about 3/4" lower. I really like these rear springs and they give a good weight transfer as well.)

UMI tubular rear lower control arms:
Although these are a pretty cheap arm and I would never run them with a stock style bar, we had them so we used them! The ones we had did at least have greasable bushings so that was a plus! If they had had the grease zurks, we would not have used them. These work very well with a pro touring style swaybar

Hellwig Pro Touring Rear Swaybar:
EXELLENT!!! $175 shipped, cant beat this bar!

Aluminum rear brake drums with long shoes and S10 cylinders

WHEELS:
I cant remember what brand these are but we got them for $600 off Craigslist with new tires!! The original price of just the rims was well over $2000. This was a great deal! I'm also not sure of the exact specs but the front are Lowenhart 19's and the rears are 20's. The rear tire is a 275/30R20 and they could be a little wider becuase the car smokes them easily but since they are new, we are going to run them and go wider when they need to be replaced.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic but is all I have, the car looks great and the wheels tuck very nicely but we do plan to go with the Howe's lower ball joints that will drop the front 7/8" more and create a much better camber curve!

good looking ride.
Are the 1.5 wheel adapters needed?
How do the 255's fit in the rear?

Ya the adapters are needed. I found out the hard way. I thought it would fit without. The adapters are not a big deal though except costing me more money. the 255 in rear have no issues.
