Hey there, so I guess bushing 5 was just a GNX bushing so in my new bushing kit they offer it.

This bushing just slips in and then body weight holds it down, no bolt etc?

Any tips to get at it, swap it etc?

I need to loosen all the bushing bolts and lift the frame or is there an easier way?

Thanks

You are correct, it's just sandwiched between the frame and the body.

Get the car on jack stands, and shim it level, remove the rear wheels. Loosen all the body bolts, but don't run them all the way out. Then get a long piece of wood and put it against the body sill plate under the door, and raise the body with a floor jack just enough to get the bushing in. Slip in the bushing and let the body down (or replace the other bushings while you're in there, just remove the body bolts one at a time so you don't lose body location on the frame).

Take your time.

You can also do one side at a time top avoid shifting the body on the frame. Although there are alignment holes by #2 bushing to help re-align the body.
