Yes I know this is a buick forum but I still will share. My 88 Ss bought in 2010 with 210k from original owner. He is a GM master tech like myself just not a gearhead. Anyways this August I stripped it to the metal and just got it back from the repaint. Went with white pearl. Now I am working on the floor pans with por15. Next is Ls conversion maybe sometime in 2014. Still have some decisions to make and gather parts/driveline.

More progress today. Finished with por15, started a second coat of rustoleum on top of it. Did the trunk pan with rustolem. Going to top coat that with spray on truck bed liner. Painted the a and b pillar exterior trim. Hopefully can start putting interior back in this thing soon.

Here's my latest trick those hard to reach areas inside panels. As little rain/water as this monte will see this should go a long way in preventing rust from the inside out.

Some more progress. First batch of interior paint came from Mike's Montes second batch from Gbody. Can't get his paint to dry right....it goes on correct color then lightens as it dries. Very humid out here today and everything in the garage was sweating so hopefully that's all it is.

About a month ago I had an unfortunate accident. Had collector ins and they settled with no probs. I have gotten a new fendar stripped it. Its primed and cuttin. I sprayed the inside of it satin black. Think I will pull the Rf also and paint the inside also. My body guy fixed the nose. I have got to get a pic of that. He does amazing work. Here are some pics. I will update as I go.

Nice!! Didn't realize you did body work as well. I am just getting to that stage on my car. Will have to bring the car by for you to look at sometime this season.

Sending you a PM about prices...

Just to clarify I only strip my cars. I don't prep and shoot them, although I would like to learn.

More progress. These are the headlights Kirban and others sell. Drives crazy how these lights never sit level. And a before and after of the nose. My body guy is no slouch!
