I find it hard that you have spark but no ecm response.

How do you know you had spark?

I pulled a plug wire, stuck a screwdriver in there and turned it over. Nice strong spark.

Last time I hand a no ses light it was the ecm. It had a bad soldier run. I could tap on it and make it run or die.

Check your ses bulb. If it is blown or loose the car wont start. I had that problem on my 86 once. Caspers sells a socket, I believe, that replaces the original so that if the bulb blows the car will still run.

Just checked the bulb. Bulb is good. It's weird that the ECM is kaput but I still have spark.

I believe I would try another ecm also.

If you have spark how do you know you have fuel, shoot a little fuel down its throat and see if she will fire up
