Hello everyone.
I wanted to put up a quick post about the latest THS class turbocharger that we will have with us at Bowling Green.
It was released at the end of April.

From the leaders in Turbo Buick Performance comes the latest Turbo Hot Street (THS) class specific turbo, the GEN2 PT6770.

This turbocharger features our latest Gen 2 CEA compressor wheel technology. It comes with the class specific E compressor cover, which has a 3” inlet and a 2” discharge. This turbocharger also comes standard with our Buick 3-bolt turbine housing which has a .85 A/R. And being a Gen 2 turbocharger, it comes standard with our air-cooled dual ball bearing chra, as well as the class legal 67mm inducer spec for the compressor wheel. It is available with a Heavy Duty wastegate actuator for use with internally gated downpipe, or without an actuator. With this new unit featuring our Gen 2 CEA aerodynamics to the compressor wheel, we have seen favorable increases in horsepower.

What is the power rating for this turbo with a cover like that?
 
Oh man this is exciting! Is there any change in the diffuser for more flow? I currently run a 6768bb and am curious what your thoughts are compared to the 6768 and how spool would be effected?
 
Has there been any update's to the Turbine designs/materials ?
Does the turbine weigh as much as a 68 Gt-q wheel ?
